I want to get a tattoo of the seal of solomon (a hexagram inscribed in a circle), all in black, about the size of a half-dollar, but the only picture I have is of really poor quality, and I don't know how to explain what I want to have it drawn for me. All search attempt to find a better image have ended poorly. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can get a good image?

Please don't respond with answers about how I shouldn't get a tattoo, I've already made up my mind, I just have to get a good design.

The one I have is the one that can be found on Wikipedia's page.

I would agree with all answers given so far...no sense in retyping what has already been type. BUT and this is VERY IMPORTANT
the smaller the tat, the less detail can be put in it. I'm not saying it has to plain, but any tattoo artist will tell you the same thing. More detail means more skin coverage. So if you only want it the size of about a half-dollar, you a going to be limited on what type of details you want. Good luck and keep on tat'n!

A good tattoo artist could probablly take the one pic you have and still create the right tat for you. Good Luck n keep tatt'n!

I found this link to one on Yahoos search: lakes.chebucto.org/GOD/god.html
If this is the image you're reffering to, you can bring it to any tattooist and he will use a special marker to trace it on tissue paper then he will simply put this tracing on your skin.
Then they'll tattoo right over the tracing.
That image should be clear enough. You will be able to look at it on your skin to verify it's placement before the tattoo work starts anyway, so don't worry, it will be fine.
Good luck!

Most high quality tattoo parlors have the design and probably have a lot of different ones that you could pick from

when u go to the tattoo shop, they may have that design, just describe it to them. if not, they can usually use whatever image u bring them, and they'll draw t out first so u can have them alter whatever you think is inacurrate
