Its not like that. HE tried something in his movies a quite time but it doesn't suceed. For example, Friends movie and then kannukul nilavu. but result????/

So now he is doing what is procuing and giving sucess to him.

Well, I would say he is smart. The formula has worked well for him. Starting from thirumalai, he has delivered the same masala of fighting the bad villain, romancing heroine, family sentiment thing. He has tried nothing new. However, he is targeting the B/C class of people, who are interested in intellectual drama. allthey want is to have fun dancing and whistling , watching movies with their hard earned movie. And Vijay delivers this well upto their expectations.
Also the timing of his movies is such that they are not too frequent. And his movies get released when no one else is trying the formula. Also, personally i feel its better he sticks to this. Because, he cant act in mature cinema. He cant cry, romance, or show any complex feelings.
