What is funny about Bottom's line, We will meet; and there we may rehearse most obscenely and courageously?

It is supposed to be a funny line.

look up the meanings of the adjectives in the sentence (obscenely and courageously.) then think about what you think he MEANS vs. what he actually SAID and also what, from the rest of the play, you know about this character. Is he smart? does he always get it in every situation? or is he kind of a doofus? when he leads his friends, is he an inspired, well-spoken, noble kind of guy or does he just THINK he is but in reality he's acting like a clown and those that follow him are just as silly?
if you go through that process, you should get that actually the line is very funny.

It's been a LONG time since I've read the play and watched the movie.

Just from the line, I would guess it was a comical expression of making love.
