Look: short and sweet--Dan Brown's a bit of a hack. Don't get me wrong, it's fine pulp, but his is not literature nor is it accurate in the o-so-many-ways he claims it is.

I wouldn't have a problem with him at all if he didn't foist his shoddy theology and his biased research and conspiracy-mongering as truth.

He should've said, Hey! I wrote a rocking good story instead of trying to build this rat-trap mythology and pawn it off as something resembling academic merit.

First Dan Brown at the beginning when interviewed on NBC said that everything he wrote in that defilement was fact And he had proof. He then in the second interview stated that the book was just fiction.
Fiction is one thing a Book of Lies is another. As if the code wasn't bad enough he has now written a book "The Gospel of Dan Brown" where he explains which of the Holy scriptures is false.
I would NOT want to be Dan Brown on Judgment Day but I do want front row seats when he meets his maker and finds out how he will spend eternity.

I don't think it is the critics who are angry- it is some conservative Christians who don't like the reference to Mary being the wife of Jesus, as it goes counter to their beleifs.
