Glasses can look very nice if your prescription is not too strong., contacts are great, I always wore contacts, until my astigmatism worsened making it impossible to find the right lens, I think they still don't have it out, in my prescription anyway, so I had to go back to glasses, thank God they have thin lenses now.

Hi! Glasses can look sexy--but I would try to get both. Contacts can be irritating at times and you need a backup anyway. Contacts are great for sports because of all around view and the weather changes. If you have gorgeous eyes, contacts are a plus. You should start with glasses, then when you get more money, get contacts. See Ya!

Go to the eye doctor and ask about contacts. From personal experience, I would try contacts! I used to wear glasses and now that I wear contacts, I absolutely love them! They are much easier to deal with because there is nothing on your face getting in the way. You can just pop them in in the morning and you are free of hassle the rest of the day until you take them out! Good luck!

Get glasses first, cuz it takes a while to get used to them, but then after a while, get contacts if you feel you still want them. And besides, its always best to have a spare pair of glasses because there will probably be some days you cant wear your contacts for whatever reason, and you need to be able to see.

First, contact lenses can be expensive and high maintenance, so you have to decide if you can afford the money and the time to take care of them (I know, I wore them for years). If you can, get daily disposables for less maintenance. Of course, daily disposables tend to be more expensive, so there's a tradeoff.
If you do decide on contact lenses, you'll need to discuss it with your doctor. Not everyone can tolerate them, though most can. And, you might need special contact lenses for astigmatism or dry eyes.
Of course, you'll probably need glasses as well, because you can't wear contact lenses 24 hours a day. Your eyes need time to recover. You might need glasses for that down-time.
I'm including some info links on contact lenses and eye exams for you below. I hope they help you with your decision.
Good luck!

I would say get glasses first. Then when you get used to having glasses go for the contacts if you want to try them out too. Or, maybe consider disposable contact lenses.

Try and get both if you can. If you wear contacts most of the time your prescription probably wont change a lot, but if you wear the glasses most of the time, your vision can actually worsen and you might need stronger perscription every few years.

that all depends on you
some people think glasses make you look more like a nerd and a dork, if you're one of those people, then get contacts
if you cant find any contacts that's comfortable and not irritable, then you should definitely get glasses
but some people like myself, find having this air of sophistication around the person, and it all depends on the type of glasses you get
