whenever i sleep really long, i generally feel even more sleepy afterwards. i just wanted to know if anybody else has had the same experience...

Yes! sleep induces sleep just as the more you eat your capacity to eat increases

Oversleeping causes you to become and feel tired . if you need longer sleeps if you missed a few hours earlier ,then this will compensate your lack of sleeping time.
If you sleep more for no reason then you will feel tired out.
your body needs the right number of hours ...
in both situations you might even develop some kind of fatigue and drowsiness. Your mouth goes dry and sticky and may be some temperature ...which disappears after some time ..

Ya,it's true. because more you sleep your mind get extra relaxed,means it does an over time. After an overtime you need relaxation so it needs more rest.
Child below16 should sleep upto 8 hours
An adult should sleep 5-6 hours a day
Old person should sleep 8 hours

Sleeping too long can cause you to feel sluggish when you wake up, yes. Everyone has their own sleep needs, so you may need more sleep or less than the next person, but overdoing it can leave you as tired as not sleeping enough.

what ever suggestion your body get from your mind, your body will feel the same. this is like an exercise. if you sleep less for a month your body don't feel like sleeping after a certain time.

That is not true if you restrict the sleeping hours on a regular basis to eight and maximum nine.

Yes it is true. whatever the time you go to bed, get up at the usual time and do not sleep more because you have gone to bed late.

we are required to sleep for eight hours,longer than that will cause dizziness and sometimes we almost felt very tired
