I was on the Depo for like 9 months and after stopping I still havent had my period. I know that its normal to not start your period for a couple of months...but is 6 months to long? I would go get it checked out but I have no health Insurance..So should I go to the docter anyways because its something serious or is it normal?

Took about 9 months to get mine back and 7 years later I still haven't lost the 50lbs I gained. I stopped gaining weight as soon as I went off it, but I can't lose it either!

No it can take a year or more sometimes to get your period back. The side effects can also last up to a couple of years.

It'll take a while for it to come back. You could always try to get on the pill, as it will help you get your period back :)
