'Good Job' essentially describes any form of employment that conforms to and promotes the ideas of the "American Dream";
-social advancement
-investment and wealth
-increased consumption
-ect.
I'd define a good job as one that
-you enjoy
-can support you in times of inflation (all the time).

One wich pays decently, gives employee benefits, gives some paid holidays and vacation days, and is not overly stressful.
A "good" job has different meanings for different people. Most people know what they would love doing--but find it impossible to survive waiting for their dreams to come true. It's great if someone can get a job that they can at least tolerate--and not be so burned-out that their entire lives change for the worse.

Not all jobs are about the pay, or stress levels, or even the work you have to put in to accomplish the job.
The way I see it is this: If you can go to your high school reunion and tell people what you do without feeling the need to lie about it, then that's a good job.
Or to paraphrase Confucius, if you do a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life.

Good job means job security with a good package including,leave,medical facilities, leave travel concessions,peaceful atmosphere to work and co-operation from your boss and colleagues.

All it means to me, is something I love to do, and can live doing it. If we are going to spend have hour days there... shouldn't we like it? It doesn't have to pay a million dollars. Just something I can be proud of or happy with. To para-phrase, Its not the size of dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog.

Good job is when you are happy in your present job...with good salary and benefits... that's a good job!
