because if your an avg guy at 16, your not big enough to do without! just my little observation, but i am one of the unlucky avg penis length types. i measured when i was like 14 or 15 and was almost 12"(means like 6 and 3/4, anyway i'll kill the person who gives a woman a real ruler!!!!!!!). anyway, if you dont have a secure fly, zippers are unforgiving!!!!!!!!!!
besides, whatdya do in the emergency room when they show you the "no commando" sign?

I can safely say this to you- You don't have to wear underwear BUT BOY sure would wished you had them on if & when you ripp your pants and your privates fall out.

why bothering wearing them unless your pants get a hole and then undies come in handy.
another big reason to wear undies is you might want to go swimming in the pond or something and undies work wonderfully as a instant bathing suit..... otherwise take undies off and feel the breeze... let it air OUT !

just because britney spears and paris hilton sometimes forget to wear underwear, doesnt mean that u dont need to wear it too.
first up, underwear helps keep ur genitals in place.
secondly, its hygenic because underwear helps prevent ur genitals from getting a rash or infection.
and lastly, it prevents ur genitals from getting caught in ur pant zip.
