Agreed. You're not going to see any park take on the Six Flags name, let alone a new one be conceived, for a very long time. Six Flags is in the hole some 2 billion dollars, hence the selling of many of their parks (including my hometown Darien Lake). If I were you, I wouldn't hope for a Six Flags anyway, from my experience the chain isn't the cream of the Amusement Park crop. As far as another park goes, I wouldn't expect it for a while because a lot of planning and capital goes into constructing a theme park from scratch. I guess you'll have to stick to the casinos and golf courses for now, if you've had your fill of Manhattan Express, Speed, Canyon Blaster, and High Roller. I think those are all the Vegas coasters, anyway...

No. Six Flags is getting rid of parks at the moment. Were they planning to add parks, they wouldn't be building them but acquiring parks for sale. Six Flags hasn't built their own park from scratch since Six Flags in St. Louis opened in 1971, and that park was built while still owned by the *original* owners/investors.

that would not be happening. Six Flags is doing very poorly and does not know how to manage the parks they DO have. (I work at SF Magic Mountain) Many are being sold right now

To himself he will say, "God , why are these fools that I support keep getting caught with their hands in the cookie jar, can`t they remember how I taught them to do it without getting caught? Do I have to do all the thinking for them?". To American voters he will say, "I supported this group because I believe that all Americans should be giving the opportunity to register and be able to vote, ACORN has worked diligently in helping Americans from all walks of life in achieving their Constitutional given right to vote. Look, lets face some facts, Senator McCain has been tarnishing my reputation by suggesting my past associations will affect my performance as Commander in Chief. This is not true, just because there may be what McCain would say " a few bad apples" amongst the people that I have worked with or known in the past, this doesn`t mean that I would carry out their agenda over the most important agenda, which is the well being of all Americans and bringing about positive changes that will make our nation better than it has been for the past 8 years under President Bush`s administration. They claim that ACORN is committing voter fraud but do you hear about the good work that most of ACORN workers have done? You will not hear McCain or Republicans for that matter, commenting on the work that ACORN has done on behalf of Americas "underdog", the men and women in our country that confront more challenges because they are poor, uneducated and just not the right color or ethnicity". I`m sure that many "thumb-suckers" will continue to believe his lies and bring out the Kool-Ad. By the way, I don`t suck my thumb any longer, but Obama definitely "sucks".
