Man ! How soon people forget. How fleeting is fame and how like a whisp of smoke power disappears !

He was Senator Bob Dole, the Republican leader in the Senate. Now, he is the answer to a trivia challenge game.

Oh well. Try this one out: What do these men all have in common? : Alton Parker, John W. Davis, Charles Hughes ?

Give up? All three were losing candidates for President from one of the major political parties. Now, NOBODY remembers them at all ! (Just for the record, Parker was defeated by Theodore Roosevelt in 1904, Davis was defeated by Calvin Coolidge in 1924, and Hughes was defeated in 1916 by Woodrow Wilson.)
