I seem to have lost one of my onilne rentals from Blockbuster, I've looked everywhere, and will continue to look, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what will happen if I report to them that I've lost it? I know theres a place online to report just an issue, but i can't find out how much they will make me pay.

In the meantime I'm looking for it and I'm only able to rent 2 movies at a time. Has this happened to anyone? What will blockbuster do?

I haven't worked for them for about 5 months so this might have changed. If it is a brand new rental (they have not sold it as previously viewed yet), they charge you the cost of the retail price of the DVD (Usually 21.99) minus the rental fee. If they have begun selling previously-rented copies, they charge you that price (anywhere from 4.99 to 14.99) minus the rental fee.

My advice if they charge full retail price is to go to Walmart(groan) or some other big retail outfit. You can often purchase new title DVDs for much cheaper there. Then return the new disc as the rental. Saves a few bucks.

it depends sometimes it usually changes the status a/b a day after you drop it off but it only takes a/b two days to get it so i wouldn't worry a/b when it clears. it's still a better deal than netflix b/c you do the in store exchange and you get free coupons as well so overall it's better to me. sometimes i can get a/b 5 free rental w/ my 3 movie exchanges and two free movie coupons, so i'd just switch. the good far outways the bad. even if the queue still shows that you have movies shipped as long as they're logged in as received in store they still send out your next movies. just switch you won't regret it. i've been a member for over a year and i love it. i'm sorry that other person had a bad experience but i haven't had that problem it is based on the availability of that movie. and so just make sure it says avaiable when you order it. they are pretty accurate and fair .
