I started my first period after childbirth and Im soaking through a pad every 20 mins or less.. is this normal? I feel like im going to bleed to death! Is there any brand of pad that will last longer?

That doesn't sound normal. Go to see your doctor ... and if the clinic is closed, go to your nearest hospital. It's better to be safe, than sorry. :)

go straight to the emergency room. if you are going through a pad every 20 minutes or less that means you are hemorrhaging

ummm..are you referring to afterbirth bleeding? I had a baby 2 weeks ago and I don't
think I'm gonna stop bleeding any time soon. I am ruining all my clothes and losing clots that look like my liver. it's parta the deal.

Hello,
You could be hemorrhaging? You need to see a doctor so many they call help you. The might have to do a DNC on you.
Please get checked out.

Its normal to have heavy periods right after having a baby, i suggest trying the depends under garment. they are really a life saver.I had to use the pad kind before my hyterectomy. they worked wonders.
