I like to sleep on my side, sometimes all twisted up like a pretzel, sometimes with my arm under my body. Is there really a proper way to sleep as far as your posture go's?

I dont have a back problem but I do have a neck problem and over time not enough sleep, and not good enough quality of sleep really wears you down.

I got a memory foam mattress topper and microfiber cover.
Plus I have a neck support pillow thats cylinder shaped.
That has helped me alot. I think that sleeping the same way all the time maybe isnt such a good thing.
But mostly sleeping on my back has felt the best.

One thing for sure is you spend alot of your life sleeping. You should make sure you have can sleep comfortably as that affects you all the time you are awake.

The important thing for your back is to maintain the natural curvature in the lumbar area. If you sleep on your back you need a firm mattress and a narrow lumbar support pillow would be helpful. If you sleep on your side, don't curl your back like a fetal position, consciously arch you lower back forward. It is easier if you do not bring up both knees, but only one at a time. A small pillow between your knees also helps.
