Depeche Mode are better. I feel good when I listen to them. The Cure have maybe three songs that are not suicidally depressing. Who knows.

I think they sound totally different. I love Depeche Mode because their music is cool and Dave Gahan is hot. I never much liked The Cure, too morbid and depressing.
