log (base a) of a^x = x by definition, so what you have is 5 • 9 = 45.

I will assume the base of the log is 37. In that case, since 37 is raised to the 9th power, it can be taken outside of the log: 9*5log37 37; but log 37 37 =1 so the answer is 45.

5log(37)(37^9)
(5 * 9)log(37)37
45log(37)37
45 * (log(37)/log(37))
ANS : 45
