where do you put your coat at a bar?

so ive always wondered what ppl do with their coats when they go to a bar. im from WI so you have to wear one for most of the yr, but what do you do with it? do you keep it on, is there a coat place by the door, do you keep it at your chair or something???

I'm from Wisconsin also and usually leave my coat in the car and suck it up walking to the bar. Most bars don't have coat racks to hang your coat, and I wouldn't trust most people anyways leaving my coat unattended. Also at some bars you're lot always sitting so you can't just drape it over a chair or a barstool and plus the smoke is a big problem. Having your coat smell the next day is not fun. So leave it in the car or wear something warm that you might leave on.

If you are sitting at a chair, keep it at the chair. If you are at the bar, hang it on a coatrack.
