....drops friends like hot potatos. She is very clingy to a group/person for a certain amount of time and then she completely ignores them and moves on to her next target without warning. Usually it's for no reason. She is known for doing this, and has never had the same "group" of close friends for more than a year. What's going on in her head?

does not sound like a happy person and certianly not a good friend for anyone

Well for one she shouldnt even get the label "friend." And I have no idea whats going on in her head because I have the same friends for a long time and remail true. Sounds like she has problems, she needs a psychiatrist

Some people just like change also she might be trying to become popular or maybe she just finds after a while people dont want to be her friend anymore so she naturaly moves on to new friends as a responce

She could have possibly had a bad experience in the past where she moved around a lot or when she got close to someone they would leave. I think that would cause someone to act like that.

Doesn't sound like much of a friend to me. Or maybe she's just trying to find someone who'll be a good friend to her. Maybe she finds out that people think she's clingy and that's why she leaves. Hey, you never know...

I don't know, but why are those groups of girls even her friend if they all know she does that? I think that she just loves attention and that's what her problem is.

I have a friend that just did that to some one- nothing really personal-she had her reasons and didnt want a big "break-up" fight.

why waste the time trying to find out,if you've already asked her about this{you say she is a friend] and still don't know then move on to friendships you can enjoy........
