you could power-chord C, like x355xx, then 133xx
then to G.

I had the same problem with Coldplay's "the scientist". x13331 was way too hard, so I stuck to 68876x (it's easier up the fretboard)

The pro way is to hit the C with your ring finger on the A string, then ease your way to x13331 by barring it and placing your fingers neatly on each string. It IS possible, just relax your fingers and don't strain them. If that is a problem, just hold the first fret of the A string with your forefinger and bar the rest with your pinky

Bb is a hard chord. So practise it on an electric at first, then an acoustic. Make the G an open 320003, the change to C isn't so bad from there.

Capos are for wimps!!

The easiest way is, if you know how to play a C bar chord, then you just slide it towards the tuning keys two frets, and that's a Bb chord !!

If you are using open chords, your best choice would be an A bar chord, with the bar finger on the first fret.

If you are using Bar chords, Play the C as an A bar, barring the 3rd fret, the Bb as an A bar, Barring the 1st fret and the G as an E bar, Barring the 3rd fret.

Or for a different Bar voicing, you could play the C as an E bar, barring the 8th fret, the Bb as an E bar, barring the 6th fret and the G as an E bar, barring the 3rd fret.

Experiment with different combinations and have fun.

Good luck. I hope this helps.

xx3331

it's almost like an A open chord, but moved down one fret, and you have to add another finger
