Let me explain what I looked like in the 8th grade. I wasn't TERRIBLE...but I had braces, was pretty white, and chunky...I mean come on, it was the 8th grade.
There was this guy I went to school with, and he hasn't seen me since then because I moved. But I found out today from a friend that somehow I was brought up in the conversation and he was like "Dude, that girl is ugly!"
So yeah...it kind of hurts. I can tell he's grown up a lot since then.

It's not like I'm repulsive...and he hasn't seen me in a long time. I've got a boyfriend (not that it matters). Should I let this get to me? Because not only am I embaressed, but it hurts my feelings also. I hate to sound superficial...but nobody likes to feel ugly.

You know what - don't let it get to you - I think that you are gorgeous and I was going to get my husband to have a look at your pictures too, but figured he would say the same thing as me. Anyway - half the time when guys pick on you it means that they like you - or maybe in some way you either intimidated him or rejected him without knowing and he made the ugly comment to try and get back at you.
Another thing though - if anyone ever made a comment about my friends and said that they were ugly - i would never repeat it to them, I would take a good look at the person who passed on the information to you and ask yourself why they would say something to you that would hurt your feelings

First of all, you are like, the prettiest girl i've seen today. (Only because I forgot to look in the miror this morning...lol j/k) I'm surprised you haven't been represented by any agencies. You have that kind of All-American look that people are so wild after! The magazine that I work at are looking for girls like you! What do you care what this guy thinks? He's probably ugly and a dork. In fact, I think that he actually might have had a crush on you and just called you ugly so that the person that he was talking to wouldn't know that he liked you.

First of all I'm not a lesbian, but I think you look pretty cute and and you shouldn't let some Asshole get to you. You failed to say what he looked like in the 8th grade. If you think about he most likely was not all that either. Maybe you should make it a point to be somewhere he is going to be and let him have a second look. After all we all have our ugly days. But girl don't dwell to much on what he said or anybody says about your looks, 15 yrs from now you'll look back or your kids will look at you and say they have a hot mama. I know I was that ugly girl in school so the boys said.

Don't let it get to you.. Look at it this way- He is still talking about you after a long time right? If you were ugly he would have forgotten you a long time ago.

You are beautiful, don't let a loser like that get you down. Does his opinion really matter anyway? Seems like you have a lot going for you and seem like a really good person. Meanwhile, he's an *** and will only get uglier inside and out as he gets older. We can't help our feelings be hurt, but don't let him ruin you. You let him win when it you do that. Keep your chin up and know you are beautiful. Your heart is full of beauty his is full of ugliness.

You haven't seen this guy in a long time so he wasn't important enough in your life to stay in touch with him. Why are you giving him so much power over your feelings? You have a guy who obviously sees something wonderful in you so focus on that and let the past go.

oh girl i can't thing of anyone who was gorgeous in the 8th grade (probably the most awkward year...)
but you should let it go for sure (i know i agree it sucks to have someone say that), but you are so pretty now and i'm sure he wouldn't feel the same way if he saw you.

chica- calm yourself your pretty always have been. dont let some guy put things in your head. your beautiful and you should be thinking it too.
remember you are what you think about all day long.
he obviously doesnt have a clue and is an empty person who must say things about others to feel better about himself. take it from me, i model and used to think i was ugly. hell no. we are all beautiful and u better start believing it before its too late and u become what u believe u are.
ask yourself who am i? what am i??? what defines you?? what is your identity????
