When I was 13 i got a Coach leather Black purse, It goes with about anything and it is not to trendy so it wont go out of style.

it would probably depend on your personal style but if it is your first you should start small or maybe with a messenger bag style purse.
look at target (they have a huge selection of CUTE purses.)
claires (you can find a small shoulder bag there)
american eagle (they are more expensive.)

Juicy Couture makes bright color bags for girl. Try nordstroms or neiman marcus for them. They range from $100- $300 & are good quality

for a 13 year old girl i'd either a cheap starter bag from either target or claires. or if you want something name brand. dooney and bourke it bags and lv pink flower ones are really cute. or you cant do wrong with the dooney and bourke patent leather bags.
