I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for a title for my essay. Some suggestions for the similarities and differences would also be nice. Thanks!

"Do I Dare Disturb the Universe": Systemic Disaffection and Denigration in Educational Institutions.

It would also be interesting to look at the models of masculinity constructed in both of the novels: how do they compare in construction, how is the construction influenced by the surrounding cultures, and also what parts or aspects of the personality seem intrinsically, rather than extrinsically, constructed? An interesting third vantage point might be the movie Fight Club, at least insofar as it deals with similar issues of self-destruction, disaffection, and the roles of the "masculine" in modernity.
