Hi! I was told by my doctor that unlike what you hear from salons, it takes 6 months after piercing to heal correctly. First, you must have a 14k gold stud in or sterling silver. Hypoallergenic studs are good but I prefer the gold. Use alcohol 2 times a day on front and back. Then twist every day. If one is sensitive, it might be getting infected. If you take out your earrings, only put in 14k gold or sterling silver until 6 months are up. If you now use any alloy which contains nickel, you might have a problem. Many people a sensitive to nickel and the ear site gets infected. Once that happens, you will always be sensitive to nickle or cheap earrings and will have to take them out after wearing them for a few hours. They will itch and get red. I keep the same earrings in all the time unless I must change for my fashion type. Now I can take my earrings out for months and they are fine when I put them back in. With my first piercings I didn't do things correctly and only waited 6 weeks. They still get infected if I don't wear good 14k gold from a jewelry
store. My next piercings I did the right procedure and they are great. I never have a problem So Good luck my friend! See Ya!

when you got them pierced you should have been told to wait a certain amount of time for the skin around the piercing to heal before removing the earing. i would suggest waiting a couple more weeks either 5-6 weeks before taking them out if your ears are sensitive

When you got them pierced they should have told you how long to keep your earrings in before changing them. I would suggest changing them if you want to but make sure you put good earrings in (for sensitive ears) and keep them cleaned.

merely keep cleansing the decrease back with the ear piercing answer or rubbing alcohol, that is what I did, too, because my ears damage to curve the earring also. when I wiped clean it I were given some yucky crap out and now it would not damage in any respect. wish this facilitates =)
