The low waist jeans just aren't cute on those of us that carry our weight in our mid-section. I have skinny legs and no hips.

OMG< I wish I taped the Oprah show where the chick from WNTW was on there, Stacy whatever her name is...
I have the exact same probs...I go for a midrise in what ever jeans I buy, in a dark wash, no detailed fading and it makes a huge difference...I swear, it takes off about 10 pounds...
The thing is, trying on a bunch of dif jeans, ask for ones with a mid rise, if they fit great in the bum, hips/thighs but are too long, wait to big, etc...get them altered to fit...it is completely worth it!
I have been buying good old Lee jeans, in a mid rise, boot cut or mid width leg, in a dark wash and they look BETTER than designer because they fit properly, and they do not cost a million bucks but make your booty look good...
Spanx are your best friend, too...

some of the 7 for all mankind are pretty high waisted, it all depends on the cut and rise. maybe try looking in the older womens section? try citizens of humanity. i believe they would be better, but ask the sales person to show you the ones with the highest rise.
to what the person said above me, true religions are awesome jeans and i love them dearly but have a very low rise. i cant tell you how many times my freakin crack as been out in them! wonderful jeans though, i need to get a smaller size i guess, but still they have a very low rise.

as much as i think of they dont look sturdy, i nonetheless positioned on them with long t-shirts, as a results of fact the convenience element is 200% . not something thight on the tummy, so u cam sit down and pass approximately extra desirable and morefor those with gr8 hips , it definately provides yet another 200% so i think it is the main suitable there is in pants. sturdy artwork whoever made them(effective a fat guy)
