bleeding for 12 weeks?

I had my son on Nov 1,2006 and im still bleeding? my doctor says theres is nothing wrong! I Think there is something wrong. i dont know what to do. ANY HELP????

As with any medical condition, if you are unsure of what your doctors are telling you go and get a second opinion. (I have no idea about the bleeding, never had kids)

You had the normal 6-8 weeks of bleeding after having a baby. You are now having your monthly period. It is very normal for this to happen. If you continue to bleed after another week, then see your Dr. again. If you don't get a satisfying answer then seek another opinion

Please, please take the initiative to see another doctor. Although this may be unrelated since you just had a child, but my mother had vaginal bleeding fo 3 months before she was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. Not that you are the same case, but please be cautious and alert with your body. We went through so many doctors that didn't care and blew us off even after the diagnosis.
