could it be the only reason you people don't know the answer to your own questions is because you talk to a bunch of people who don't know the answwer to their own questions?

I'm a hairdresser and people tell me that I give GREAT advice. The funny thing is, when people tell me this, I haven't actually said anything. Oh, there's the occasional "mmmhmmm" or "really?" or "holy cow!" but I don't actually GIVE advice. The thing is, sometimes people just need to think out loud, or in this case, type out loud. There are some folks on here who just want people to agree with them, but in general, I think they are just thinking things through or second guessing themselves.

Your wife sounds like my husband. The all knowing pessimist. Gotta love them though. My hubby is the same way thinks this is stupid, talking to a bunch of people about questions and thinks no one knows anything and its a big waste of time. People know the answers to thier own questions, they just ask questions to see if they can ask something that is great or different and yes some really just want help. Its kinda like a challenge to ask questions just as it is to answer them. I know I constantly try to think of interesting questions. P.S. did not mean offence in anyway to your wife, was just an observation.

I saw your notice and thought I would send you a note to your noticed you made. This is a cute little notice.
While I was reading your notice you posted because your wife wanted you to stop playing on the yahoo answer site answering these questions and start noticing her, I noticed I had to read the notice twice. I still could not understand the notice. So i read it again and noticed I really do not want to answer that question, but I do want 2 point.

Are you saying that there is nothing that YOU don't know the answer to? You never have questions about anything? That's the cool thing about this site, there are some things I have questions about that other people know the answer to. There are some things people here have questions about that I know the answer to.

Very often a question is ask in order to encourage the process of thinking open mindedly about a certain subject.

I believe it could be because of youth or perhaps not really knowing themselves or their God as they should. We must take time to be still and listen. Take time to learn and grow. Take time to know ourselves. Which probably means we need to spend more time with ourselves to become best friends with ourselves. Are you comfortable being alone with yourself? I mean without a computer, T.V., or iPod, or whatever, Just you and your thoughts??? The old cliche is life is moving so fast that we don't have time for ourselves and it's true.
