What I have learned is that just because one person has let you down doesn't mean that every one will hurt you. By putting a wall up you may miss out on some one who really does care for you. This is speaking from experience. So the answer is no I have not lost trust in people. But I have learned to be a little more careful.

I did once upon a time. The straw that broke the camels back was a few winters ago. I had a great pair of jumper cables I made myself out of welding cables. You could get enough juice through those babies to boost up a 747. One car I charged up for someone on the side of the road thanked me by pushing me into the slush and stealing my cables. Lots of other incidents have happened and I had decided to give up on the human race. We're all asses and don't deserve to live. Then I met my girlfriend. She set me straight. The human race is far from perfect but she's as close as it gets.

some/ I tried to help a friend of mine once ( EX friend now ) she was being evicted> I had just moved into a 3 bedroom apartment and her and her daughter had no where to go. I offered them to stay. she said yes, for 4 days she went missing. Finally she calls and says well you wouldnt let me keep my dog at your place so we got a hotel, I was like you scumbag, for 4 days people were frantically looking for you when you couldve been safe and sound in a nice apartment and had your dog boarded for teh same costs of a hotel room. I told her right then and there what I thought, she used me and everyone else and she could phuck off.

I have a very intimate circle of people I trust and those are the only people I've ever trusted. As a matter of fact, that circle has gotten smaller as I've gotten older because I realized that some people, even if they are your sister or brother, are not trustworthy. My circle consists of about 3 people and that's it.
