Because of yesterdays State of the Union speech when President Bush talked about "Muslim Extremists" who do nothing but terrorize the nation, but failed to include the major population of Muslims who are peaceful and just added on to an random stereotype that all Muslim are terrorist, my question is how many people think all Muslims are terrorist?

how can all of them be terrorist like you said it is a stereo type and those are not fair or accurate.
That is one thing that is wrong in the world today every one wants to put everyone into to some type of group or that .This would be like the old saying one bad apple spoils the whole bunch.
I don't think every Muslim is a terrorist because why is there some of them going against all the wrong thing that the Muslim government is doing.

terrorist isn't purely muslims. This makes me very indignant as quickly as I hear this. How concerning the colleges of the Americas? Are they no longer terrorists? They kill harmless human beings of their and different international locations. Muslims are no longer all terrorists. there are various others. purely because of the fact somebody has olive colored epidermis, darkish hair and eyes, have an entire grown beard and function a acceptance like hussein or mohammed does no longer mean that they seem to be a terrorist. recover from those assumptions and picture approximately it. If somebody is an extremist and kills human beings for no obvious reason then confident they seem to be a terrorist. I dont care in the event that they are asian, american, hispanic, black, white... in the event that they KILL FOR THE SAKE OF no longer something they seem to be a TERRORIST... no longer because of the fact they are muslim.

Bush was not suggesting in any way that all Muslims are terrorists. Not many people believe this, but too many do.

No one that I know. Bush specified Muslim EXTREMISTS. Had he meant all Muslims, he would just have said Muslims. He has stated repeadedly that most Muslims are peaceful. I'm still waiting for evidence of that.

Tony B is right. I have heard Bush say in a interview that he does not believe every Muslim is a terrorist.

Not me, and no person I know, and that is a lot of people! Extremists are extremists. There are extreme versions of every group. If you think extreme vegans represent every vegan, you are very wrong. Same as if you think all people of extreme intelligence are the same as all intelligent people. Anyone *that* dim-witted who can lump every person loosely linked into one category positive or negative, needs to go back to kindergarten. All leaders are not created equal either...it's like comparing identical twins...sure there are similarities, but if you look closely they have individual fingerprints and thoughts.

Terrible over generalization. Regardless of what race, creed, religion, etc. you talk about...you can't say all are one thing or another. You are correct. This is a stereotype. And our current executive administration is using fear to control people and push their agenda (wag the dog?)

The Muslim people and their religion needs to evolve!

They are in a time of philosophical developments as a religion equivalent to where Christianity was at approximately the 1500's, very very rigid and inflexible.

Facts to back my view are personal experiences while in the Middle East, plus my observations and analysis of their religion which to me clearly shows things like the inflexibility to allow in many Muslims countries other religions to, for example own property, to freely worship and like in Saudi Arabia for example, other religions are forbidden to even preach their faith, Not to mention the way they keep half of their population down (women) with many requirements on them that virtually makes them second class citizens even in their own countries! And finally their views on other people not Muslims like them, which they label "Infidels", and which really makes me mad, because to be label outright without first really knowing the other person or people is just stupid.

They need to evolve! Right now (to me) they are behaving more like a cult than a religion.
