Mine did a little. It was just a sore feeling "down there". And that snotty looking stuff is your mucus plug. So prepare yourself, you should be meeting your little one soon! Congratulations!

No, loosing your plug doesn't hurt. It's likely that you wouldn't even feel it if it was happening by itself. The cramping is from having your membranes stipped. I had mine stripped twice and I had cramps both times but labor never came. I ended up with a c-section because of the way my son was lying.
With my sister-in-law, she lost her plug in chunks (gross, sorry!) over two days, and then a day later she had her membranes stripped, and then within 24 hours she went into labor.
Make sure your bag is packed, but don't stay up all night waiting for something to happen.
You'll likely be meeting your new baby within a few days. Congratulations and good luck!

I had no clue I lost my plug. I woke up, went to the bathroom, wiped and there it was. I then started contractions and 6 hours later had my baby girl.
More than likely, with striping the membranes is what is causing the pain. You are probably in the beginning stages of labor.
Good luck, and I hope everything is OK, and you have a beautiful baby to love.

i didn't get my membranes stripped but i had the exact same feeling, i was loosing my mucous plug for 2 days but I didn't start feeling like that until the 2nd day when I went into labor. I didn't think it was labor either, I started getting that constant menstrual pain at 1pm and started getting noticeable contractions at around 2am. I didnt go to the hospital until 4am but when I did I was 6cm dilated, I was in labor the whole time!!!
if I were you I would call and go to the hospital just to get evaluated, see what they say and what they figure out....they could just send you home or you could be in labor and not even know it!
good luck

When I lost mine, It did not hurt. The day before I lost it, my husband and I had sex. I heard that helps it, too. When I lost it, I was still in my PJs. I was sitting down for a while then I got to get the remote and a book. I was going to watch a movie and read a book, Dark Destiny by christin Feehan. When I sat back down, I felt something cold and wet down there. I went to the bathroom and wiped. Clear mucous with bloody tint in it. I called my mom to see what she had to say. It was the plug. It was around noon when I lost it. 24 hours laters, I had my son. I heard you can lose your plug and go into labor two weeks later. That did not happen to me. I didn't even know I losted mine.

you may be pre complicated artwork yet when unbareable call the record. i became in complicated artwork for 3 days with my second new child in the previous I even admitted i became in complicated artwork. for all and sundry its diverse. And Its no longer that gross, its organic and in case you cant communicate about it or are embarassed to communicate about it then you genuinely ought to in all likelihood re imagine issues, it is your body and also you go with to be acquainted with those products and under no circumstances imagine its gross. Oh and your infant does no longer come out all sparkling and pink like on television they're lined with red blood and a blue waxy substance throughout. Will you imagine thats gross too????
