Go to google and type carreer tests and try one of those. Usually they are pretty accurate as long as your honest with your questions and give some ideas to maybe at least narrow some things down.
But from personal experience dont your beat yourself up if you dont have a major right away. Most college students change thier major about 3 times. So just get some more basics out of the way and give yourself some time to explore your options.

Anything to do with the baby boomers will do well. They are entering retirement now in droves and will continue for the next 10 years. Medical proffession, ie nurses, caregivers, gerentology are all good choices. Hard sciences, like biology, enginneering are also good. My wife and I own a private nursing care home and it is a goldmine and will continue to be for many years (supply is low, demand is high). Stay away from art/sociology ect stuff unless you want to be eating raman noodles on the unemployment line. Fence sitters usually take these courses or rich kids. GL

I would go to a junior college because it's cheaper and the credits are as good as at university. You might be able to pretty much get an AB degree and then graduate at a big name university. If you drop out , you've got that AB degree which looks better than 3yrs and big debt at a university (and no degree).

I would take some sort of Business Degree program, that degree is so universal. I have been in an office career now for a while and am making about $45k /yr.

Take the money and leave the country, they can't make your parents pay them back........or just don't major in astrology because the majority of them are not even able to find a job in their job even with their PhD's. So there you go that's the worst major ever.

What is (are) your favorite subject(s)? Pick a major related to that. There's a well known expression -- "Do what you love and the money will follow."

Do what you love doing. It's amazing how things will either become more fascinating or boring.
