can't see it. I know get it fixed I was just want to see if maybe there was something I could try and fix it. You know before I take it in and pay all that money out. Just to find out I could have fixed it my self. My kids miss haven it in the van on trips so any help would be great thanks.

Does it have audio and visual cords hooked to it. They should be red, yellow, and white. Or one of the two. That might be, what the prob is. Those wires only cost a couple of bucks.

NO, don't get it fixed. Upgrade!

VCRs are a thing of the past. If you intend to keep your van, replace the TV screen only, then have a VCR/DVD combo installed. You can begin upgrading to DVD's and still play your...cassettes. (hurts to even say the word)
