Yes, I feel when we are in pain of any kind we turn to prayer more often then when we are happy. It shouldn't be that way. We should have strong faith all the time no matter what.

At my weakest hour, 12 years ago, looking at the curb...I found my faith that I had parked on the sidelines for years. It was and is the strongest link in my life. *hugs*

you purchase your definition for vast words from those with small minds. faith is your opt to seek for evidence. this is the appropriate hand of your soul. reason says you may not stroll by a wall. faith says no longer something can end you. Now in case you employ reason and not in any respect attempt to knock over that wall, are you better than the guy who tries? i'm going to link to a recent community tale. This save proprietor observed a burning automobile crash into his deli. As human beings stood around bewildered, the sound of a crying new child got here from interior the automobile. This guy tried to open the door even though it does no longer open. He then ripped the automobile door off together with his bare hands. He then reported to himself, "If I die i'm going to pass to heaven because of the fact God is well-known with i'm attempting to maintain this toddler." He then went into the automobile and saved the girl whilst others of much less faith stood by ability of and watched. He went back in and pulled out her dad and the motive force of the different automobile. faith. potential. the capacity to knock down partitions whilst the international tells you it can not be performed. "reason is our soul's left hand, faith her top." John Donne

My faith is usually strongest when I'm scared:
"Dear God, I'm sorry I lied last time I said that if you saved my hide I would go to Mass every Sunday. This time I really mean it. Please don't let this crazy guy with a machete chop me into meatballs! I promise I will go to Mass every Sunday. What do you mean that you've heard that one before?"

Yes, much as I know I have strong faith, i guess by virtue of human nature, it does get stronger in the midst of personal crisis.

Actually no. When i'm weak i don't beg God for mercy. I kick myself for letting life get me down. He gave me the tools; I should know how to use them.
