I cannot believe that he made it this far. The judge's always have bad things to say about his entrees. I cannot believe they choose him for the top two. I honestly think they're feeling bad for him since everyone is against him. I cannot stand Colicchio or the other lizard looking judge (Gail). As for Padma, she needs to get booted as host!! She annoys the HELL out of me!! I SWEAR I'm not watching the finale nor am I watching next season.
I'm anxious to hear if anyone else feels the same.

You are obviously not the only one that hates Marcel.
He was recently hit over the head by an irate (non) fan in Las Vegas & received 30 stitches! FOR REAL!
As dissappointed as I was by Sams elimination & Marcels advancement-----I Will Be Watching the Finale!
Where else can you find such entertainment?
The rules keep changing.
The drama continues.
The judges flipflop.
The contestants take turns flipping out.
EVERYBODY seems to have multiple personalities.
This is an ENTERTAINING REALITY SHOW.
I've been wildly entertained this season as much as last season!
The Finale Episode will bring Sam, Elia, Betty, & Michael back to team up with Marcel & Ilan.
How could you not watch that??????
Team Ilan vs Team Marcel !
Betty's sure to let off some more vile language !
Sam looks really HOT with the new hairdo & I think he's been working out.!
Michael is likely to pull another rabbit out of his (party) hat.!
Elia has a little more crying & whining to do !
Marcel probably has more foam up his sleeve !
& who knows what lengths Ilan will go to ?
As for the Judges......
Padma has to renew her Valium prescription!
Gail needs to take a Valuim !
Tom......well I don't know..... he belittled Sam for 'not cooking' a dish that was supposed to be served raw (fish).
And Lastly .....I gotta see who the Final Guest judge is.
Hell yes! I'll be watching !
& I can't wait to see season 3 (it's set for Miami!)
I hope season four is in Chicago!!!!!

I couldn't care less now about the finale show.......there is no WAY that Marcel is better than Sam.....Padma even knew it, Tom is getting too big for his britches and the Food and Wine chick just says what everyone else says....I think Sam was better than Ilan but I hope that when I hear about it next week (because I won't watch it) that Ilan won and not Marcel.

Sorry yet i'm no longer with you because i imagine both Sam or Ilan ought to win and Ilan received so Marcel ought to easily bypass cry over his foams and get over it. Marcel is too dramatic. Ilan in all likelihood don't have reported that he cooks jointly with his heart and Marcel would not he did kinda do properly for improvising. i do not recognize i'm kinda torn I wasn't particular who i had to win i became replacing my ideas on the stunning minute.

I don't know about Marcel. I think he is young and arrogant but not overly rude or annoying...unless provoked. One of the "cool kids" didn't like him and so their allies didn't like him and it was played up on camera. But I don't really know, I only started watching the season maybe halfway through.
What I really wanted to respond about was Padma. She married SALMAN RUSHDIE!!! If you don't know who that is check out his wikipedia bio....he is one of the most revered living literary men on the planet and has had a fatwa declared against him. He is about 60...she is in her 30s. She always seemed a little stuck up (and not qualified) for that show...and now I know why. Married to Salman Rushdie. Rushdie's fourth wife...hosting a cooking competition that gets its ratings by focusing on bickering between contestants and then makes elimination decisions based on what they think will help ratings (for instance...the Coliccho dude wanted all three of the other finalists who helped play the violent "prank" on Marcel to be eliminated, leaving Marcel the winner. But they couldn't do that...they'd be short shows for their contract and it would mean less drama. Which is why Sam, the most consistent cook, arguably (I think he won the most challenges, right?) was voted down while the two with the biggest beef stayed for the final show. Just to add drama and ratings.
I know I won't be watching Top Chef next season, but not because of this, because I won't have cable (I'm on a bit of a hiatus, so to speak, and do not normally live in a place that has cable television. But I love cooking and this show sucked me right in during my boredom). Salman ******* Rushdie! You dog!

Marcel is a good cook and has been picked on too much. He might not have been my favorite if he had not held his cool so much when people are picking on him. I really like Marcel by default. I do not like the way the other people have acted. Ilan has acted really imature.

trust me...i hate marcel. producers are doing it for the ratings...so sad. i'm rooting for ilan. i don't have much opinion on the judges though- but they can be harsh and bias against people.
hmmm.....ill probably only watch the part where padma goes, "______, congratulations. you are top chef."
