A lot of people see George Bush as a dictator viewing Iraq, which is exactly why his approval ratings are dropping. But to view someone completely, you need to look at all factors of Bush. When you say direction, you are asking where Bush is leading us, or what his legacy will truely be. I agree with Bush in almost everyway. I believe his plan for Iraq will work, and that it will prove a powerful victory in the war on terror. I believe that his advances in ethanol advancement is a good direction for America. I agree with his stance on Public Education, and that he has a solution to America's debt. He is probably one of the last of America's leaders that hold moral values. With abortion still being legal and gay marrige being tolarated by the norm, it is truely good to have one man that can stand up and keep the values America was truely based upon.

Because of these multiple reasons its safe to say he is leading us in the correct direction.

Historically, the presidents that are remembered were the ones that have had low ratings, or polls, during their terms. Sometimes in order to do what is right for america you have to make tough decisions, which means low poll numbers because we have to buckle up and accept it, even though we don't like it. So yes, I think we are heading in the right direction. When was the last time you saw gas prices this low?

I do.
Fatteridde...How about using your mind. Put the war in perspective of the bully in school. He will bully the hell out of you until you fight back, when he finds out your not going to take it anymore, he backs off. Or do you believe, turn the other cheek, when our country is being blown to hell...just turn the other cheek and everything will be fine. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb.

I don't think so. If he puts this country into another world war, that means more money spent, more lives lost, and more famlies ruined. If you ask me he is being very selfish.
