No, there is no proof that any Holy Grail has been found by anyone, just legends. There is a little more reason to believe that the Ark of the covenant is still around. The two main views are that it is in Etiopia under care of African Jews there from the time of the Queen of Sheba or that it is in a hidden chamber underneath the hill of Golgatha where Jesus was crucified and that the Jewish authorities know about it. The Bible explorer, Ron Wyatt, claimed to have seen it there some decades ago but no eyewitness verification has surfaced concerning that. Ron passed away some years back.

First of all, the Holy Grail has no historical records of actually continuing to exist after the last supper, so no, it wasn't found by the Knights Templar. The Arc of the Covenant is a different story though. It is valued by most Christian related religions. It, however, was never found. The last mention of it was when the babylonians destroyed the israeli temple in which it was kept. It has been believed to have been taken to Ethiopia, but it has never been found and is not known if it still exists of not. So the answer is no, neither of the two has been found, let alone by the nights templar.

They definately excavated under the Temple, and there's a lot of circumstantial evidence that they both found something, and that whatever they found gave them a great deal of wealth and power.
Whether the object itself gave them political power, or whether it simply provided the wealth that allowed them to build political power through conventional means will likely never be truly known.
