They're both disgruntled and would like a change of pace, they're both low block players (although their games are a little different), the salaries would be close to the same, and I think they'd bring a fresh fire to each team they wound up with. Makes too much sense so it will probably never happen. What do you think? (I'm a Grizz fan, so if you have alternate thoughts, I'd like to hear them regarding Gasol and not O'Neal.

Tha's a very easy question. Pau gasol is alot better than jermaine O'neal, and trading them would do nothing to either one, since they are both in dismal situations.

Because Paul Gasol is a better player than Jermaine O'Neal and the Pacers would win in that deal

Isn't Gasol injured. And why the hell would you even want Jermaine O'Neal. Are not the Grizzlies 9-33 the worst team in basketball or something.

O'Neal makes $18,084,000
Gasol makes $12,338,437

The money has to match in an NBA trade so straight up can't happen. Memphis would have to kick in a player or two to make up the $5,745,563 difference or close to it.

O'Neal would never go to Memphis. He would refuse to stay just like Gasol currently is.

Why would Jermaine goes to the franchise which is on sale?

Pau's strongest reason of wanting out from Memphis is because the future of Grizzlies franchise is still in limbo.
