What gets me, a woman is asked to do less push ups in PE or in the military run the mile in less time... or they get paid less for the same job! just thinking on the internet.

I know girls who canbeast the mile in 6 mins, and do 50 push ups... I'm thinking okay, why then are we making them do less than what they can do, it's like we want woman who are weaker than men, hmmm... I think that's asking for trouble.

I think most women will agree that women are generally physically weaker than men. By physically weaker I mean that they generally can't run as fast or do as many pushups or lift as many pounds. Note: by physically weaker I DO NOT mean less physically fit, because women do in fact tend to live several years longer than men.

So in terms of sports and other physical activity, women have lower standards than men because they are built that way. However, when it comes to doing a job, I think that it should NOT be determined by the sex of the person. Jobs usually involve work being done and this is different from doing pushups in PE.

So I think that for careers, women and men should be treated/paid equally since they are both equally capable.

A lot of it depends on the individual too.

Women's bodies naturally are built different from men's--thus the fewer push-ups and running the mile in a different time. That doesn't have anything to do with women's value. Should you be paid less than Michael Jordan to do the same job, just because he can do more push-ups than you?

The day the army or a gym class has a competition between men and women for compassion, intelligence and ability to problem solve without seeing what gender the competitors are, that will be the day things are EQUAL.
According to your rules, brute strength is "better" than skill.
So the real competition for men should be against Gorillas, Elephants, Horses, and other large animals who are judged strictly on fat, muscle mass and being able to do mindless repetition of a physical activity. By the way- the animals would win.

And unless you work for a running shoe company- you won't be getting paid for running a mile anytime soon and dude, who gives a crap if you can do a bunch of sit ups?

Let me ask you this- what's your I.Q.?

Mine was 138 at 14 years of age and that was a LONG time ago. Are we "equals"? Should I get more money than you for my work?

Yeah and why do women always get to be on top? Especially the bigger they are? Well that's life, some people are "more equal" than others and us men just have to learn to suffer it well.
