Do all women have the mentality that they can only be happy with a man or do some women know that another women can make them happy<

Coming from a straight female I have been very satisfied by women but in the end want to settle down with a man. This is because that is what I want. If all women thought this there would be no lesbians right.

No, I could be happy without a man. I'm not attracted to women, but I do have some in my life that I value very much. I'm married, but not because I couldn't be happy without a man. I just wanted to be even happier with one particular man. Besides, if all women only dated other women, don't you think the planet would get a little, um, lonely after a while?

Some don't want a man at all and the rest could go either way.

no, I've only ever been attracted to and happy with a woman. I don't hate men, I have lots of male friends. I just have always known I'm not attracted to them.

Not all, but many of them do think this -- even those who are very successful, professionally, and even those who are not straight.
