I love how people have mentioned Ralph Lauren, but how could they forget LACOSTE? Lacoste is like my favorite brand in terms of preppy clothing. High quality polos with mother of pearl buttons. It is around the same price range as abercrombie (maybe slightly more expensive) and it is internationally recognized as THE preppy look. You can go to another country and they would not know what the heck Abercrombie is, but wear a RL polo or a Lacoste polo and you'll be the instant envy of those around you.

FIRST--both are the same company--thats why their clothes are exactly the same.
SECOND-- they are both VERY overpriced, LOW quality clothing stores. do a little internet search, the president of both companies was once quoted as saying something along the lines of "i cant believe people are buying this ****."
THIRD-- trust me, in a couple of years when youre not in highschool anymore you'll laugh at yourself for ever wearing those clothes--i for one can't even step foot in either store.
FINALLY-- do yourself a favor and INVEST in better clothes. buy ralph lauren polos (rather than abercrombie polos) and they will last you a looooong time. (and they always stay in fashion_
classic never goes out of style.

Well, they're both pretty much the same. If I had to pick, I'd go with Hollister.

no offense but if you wanna look lke 'im a rich, *****' wear abercrombie if youre leaning towards just wanted to be preppy get hollister. to me both of them make like the exact same clothes. but theyre both wayy over rated. i suggest shopping RL or Tommy Hilfiger. the clothes look cuter plus while people are drooling over AF and HCO stuff you'll stand out and still look preppy and clean cut

teh answer is alwayz Abercombie... but Hollister for those who r cheper but still wanna look preppy and white trash-ish (pls don't take offense cauz i don't mean any)
the other answer is alwayz along teh lines of " i don't shop @ either b-cauz they r tooo x-pensive " or " y" or " i don't support rasicm" or something.........
i know u may think that this is a stupid answer that doesn't even answer yr totally un-original question but yeah... i am just writing wat everyone else is gonna write summed up into one answer......
