Just be yourself. That is good enough.

Simple: BE a better person than he thinks you are. He may want to be your friend, and he may not, but part of being a good person is realizing you made a mistake and may need to suffer the consequences of it.

So, be a better person. Change your attitude for the better, but don't pressure him or push. Remember his birthday and the holidays, and if he still isn't talking to you, accept it.

NUMBER ONE YOU ARE HUMAN AND NUMBER TWO WHY WAS HE BEING MEAN. IF THIS EVENT UPSET HIM SO MUCH WHY DID HE NOT WANT TO SHARE IT WITH YOU, SO YOU COULD BE A SHOULDER TO CRY ON. IF THIS PERSON IS WORTH IT, GIVE HIM TIME AND HE WILL COME AROUND. BUT DO NOT THINK FOR A INCIDENT YOU SHOULD HAVE TO PROVE YOURSELF.
