How come there are so many people who are obviously on the Internet in Yahoo Answers asking simple questions that can easily be answered with any one of dozens of search engines? I remember when there was just ONE Forest Gump!

Because I have found that the "expert" Internet resources are sometimes no substitute for plain old common sense and personal experience. You may find it hard to believe that not all answers to questions are readily available via Internet. Also - sometimes the sheer volume of information is formidable to navigate. If you find the people on "Answers" to be Forest Gumps - then why are you posting here?
p.s. I can spell , have multiple degrees, and I still find "Answers" interesting and informative.
