I am expirenced in smaw,gmaw,tmaw. and can weld both aluminum and steel. I am most intrested in getting my smaw certs. who can I call, where can I go, and how much is it going to cost me.

There is a good welding school in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

well depends on what you want to do. If your interested in working in a factory or that type of setting you may want to look into being a journeyman. At least that is what they used to call it. What it basically is that a union would give pay for your college classes, and then you also work for the union at the sametime. I believe it is part time for both, then after 4 yrs (or maybe less, not sure) your a full fledged union member and they will try and get you a job. I believe that is the basics of it anyways. The AWS has a list of testing centers around the country. Also try tech. schools like Lincoln Tech or a community College will sometimes allow you to take the test when their class does...
