get out a book on body language techniques, better yet why are you so concerned with lying, often you eventually end up being caught out, even though maybe not at first, as the saying "what goes around comes back to bite you" ask yourself is it really worth that much effort, when it only causes that much more frustration to the person you are lying to, I am not sure in what context you are wanting to lie, but for whatever reason, the truth is always best. Consider this question: when you are the one being lied to, what is your reaction?

No problem can be solved if you are dealing with erronious information. What a waste of one's life, trying to remember what you lied about going around in a circle. Don't waste your time. By the way body language is involentary.

When I lie to someone I look them either at their nose or the center of their forehead. That way it seem to them that you are looking them straight in their eyes. Also take you time with the lie try not to talk to fast or too slow, that way you avoid any slurring or stuttering in your speech. Now most of all and the most important...remember what you lie about!!!!

if you must in which it is never really good to tell a lie, but if you do lie, just embellish the truth with small details, as far as body language, if you cant control that from giving you away, then maybe you should just go ahead and tell the truth, which is better.

1. practice.
2. find the tell-tale signs that people watch for, you'll find em in cop shows and such from time to time. Like moving your eyes a certain way to access different parts of the brain, not making or making too much eye contact etc. If you can catch it, you could better hide it.
3. poker!

Geez, Andy, get a grip. Be honest, for goodness sakes! Nothing will come from dishonesty but negativity and mistrust.
If you really want to be good at something, pick something honorable and go from there.
Best of luck.

Take some acting classes. To act / to pretend / to lie. Its not all that different.
And remember, as George Castanza said, "It's not a lie if you believe it"

I'm not gonna lecture you or anything, but think about your motives for wanting to lie to others... and what are you "really" going to gain from it... lying is unfair to others, and most importantly, self destructive to yourself in the long run.
