Hell yea. Kobe is leading the Lakers and taking them to the playoffs. Nash is really good too but look at his team. Marion, Stoudamire, Thomas, Barbossa. Kobe's players are finally stepping up but he does'nt have near the team Nash has.

If you look beyond just scoring, and consider other things like consistency, team building, humility, and overall fluidity of ball movement (yeah, I mean passing), then without a shadow of a doubt the best player in the game is Tim Duncan. He knew what DEFERENCE meant, especially when David Robinson was still with the Spurs. Now if Kobe had that when Shaq was with the Lakers.
That is why I'm so glad that the NBA requires that the players have some experience playing college ball before being drafted.

Kobe is a LOSER!! All he cares about is himself. Last year game 7 aganist Phoenix his team was down by 10+ points and he still kept passing the ball without taking any shots or "taking over the game" the lead was getting higher for the Suns and Kobe kept on passing. M.Jordan would NEVER let that happen nor D. Wade. Oh yeah D. Wade is the BEST player in the NBA cause he has a killer instinct and will stop at nothing to win unlike Kobe the loser.

He is without a doubt the best player in the league.
That being said... He absolutely should not have won mvp.
Steve Nash can be placed on any team and instantly raise them up to a playoff team and instantly increse the stats of each player on that team. Kobe can score incredibly well, but thats about it.
It is obvious that Nash deserved the MVP considering Nash led his team to a victory in game 7 against the Lakers in the Playoffs.

Yes, he is the best in the game right now. He does just about everything for his team - scoring, rebounding, assisting, playing decent defense and hitting clutch shots. No, he's not MJ's second coming and he'll never be MJ. He is just Kobe Bryant. If he can tow the Lakers in the playoffs, which is pretty certain, he should be MVP, hands down.

My dad and I hate Kobe, but he is one of the best players in all of the NBA. He should probably get MVP ( most valuable player). Yes, I do think he's one of the best players in the game.

No Kobe isn't the best player, yes he is very talented but his head is way to big so that makes him not the best.

He may be the MOST TALENTED player in the professional game but he is far from being the best player since he refuses to make his teammates better and only has concerns for himself.
