The death of every soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan is like a mortal wound to my heart.....we should have never been there in the first place and the sooner we get out the better. We cannot expect to force our philosophy for living on the rest of the world and not suffer repercussions.

He made a horrible mistake by invading Iraq in the first place. And he made an even worse mistake by not sending in enough troops at the beginning once he decided to invade. I believe that our chance to win the war has long since passed. We need to set a time limit for the Iraqi government to start governing and then we need to start redeploying to Afghanistan before all of our efforts over there end up being in vain.

The numbers tutor that the agency equipment grew to alter into "solid" for the dimensions of Bush's Presidency. now no longer saying that they've been super, yet we've been shifting forward a a competent p.c.... in case you assessment each and every of the agency alerts, you will see they start heading south after the November election in 2008. i think of it extremely is significate advice that the mere seen Obama being our president grew to alter into sufficient to injury our financial equipment. truthfully, companies recognized how radical the president grew to alter into that they began to shrink. till we get a clean president in, this could proceed.

I think we should leave (LOSING the war). We are now engulfed in a civil war, much like vietnam. People that say we should stay b/c the lives already lost would be in vain... and I say, so what, we should make martyrs out of MORE americans b/c our President needs to feel like his left his mark on the world? I say we cut our losses while we can.

well common sense says he is doing the right thing or making a sound decision.
if we pull out altogether...much of the effort was wasted, some lives may have been lost in partial vain, and the region will be left in chaos...which is good for no one.
if we keep the lavel of troops the same...can we expect any results? the definition of insanity is to keep taking the same action over and over....expecting different outcomes.
however, if we increase the amount of troops..it will give us greater control, security, and assistance...thus speeding the recovery process and structuring...

it never was a war with iraq to begin with,it's a war on terrorists.Terrorists are a group of people organized to attack a certain system and are usually spread everywhere,so you can't really target them.Which is a bad thing bc bush is just going with his ego that all of them are in iraq, which is sort of right i guess.
but then again is it right that he sends thousands of young men to fight for a never ending cause?terrorizing of the US,imo the terriosts should just kill the person who did wrong to them than kill people who didn't do anything to them.this world is messed up.

Considering we bombed the hell out of Iraq and invaded it under false pretenses in the first place, I say get our soldiers the hell away from it and stop sending more.
Our leaders lost this war the moment they started it.

we've already lost the war. we are going to lose anyway. there is no way to win this war, just like vietnam when they kept increasing troops for years.
and who exactly would be "winning" anyway? i think bush just wants their oil. the iraqi people definitely feel like they're the ones "losing." they (statistically) do not want us in their country.

Well my plan would have been to never go in the first place. If we leave they descend into hell. If we stay it'll be hell on our brittle economy. It's a lose/lose situation.
