I personally cant beleive they did it and dont see the need to show that.

WHAT?! That is so very wrong! I don't know how old she is now, but in my mind she'll always be like what, 8?! No one need to see that.... what were they thinking??

Personally, I don't know very many females who have gone through life without some type of sexual abuse at one point or another. I have not seen the movie, but I am sure that it is not gratuitous and that it has some meaning for the film. Also the article states that the scene is not graphic.

that is really disturbing......I didn't realize she had a new movie coming out, but she did a good job in War of the Worlds.....I'm with you 110% on your opinion though

oh my god. that is horrible. she is a sweet little girl and i dont think anyone should put her in a postion like that. that's terrible, i cant believe they would that..
