I do. Hopefully they will get in a SOLO accident! It will mean one LESS of them!

The potential for irony is immense -- they crash their car because they're using their cellphone instead of paying attention; then, their cellphone is ruined in the wreck and they are unable to call for a tow truck!

I hate them...too distracted to what's going on in the conversation to pay attention to the road. I've witnessed too many accidents walking my kids to school because some idiot was more concerned about what the other person on the phone was saying than to watch who and what they were hitting. Nice watching them get all sorts of tickets and a few colorful words from the local police officer!!! If you can't pay attention to the road, hang up the phone...better yet, leave it in the glove box or your purse until you get to where ever you are going. Let the rest of live.

I'm a paramedic and yesterday at work I was driving the ambulance between calls (no patient on board, just me and my partner) and a woman to our right was on her cell phone. Well, her lane ran out at the same time another merged in from the right, so there was a bit of "no man's land"/shoulder in front of her lane after it ran out. Instead of merging over like the other drivers did, she just kept yakking and drove right straight through that non-drivable area and even sped up so that she could cut off the ambulance to get in front of us. At that moment, I actually hoped she would get in a solo accident, injure herself but not die, and total her car so that maybe she would learn a lesson before she kills herself or someone else. Wow I was pissed.

I think it should be against the law to talk on a cell phone while the vehicle is moving. There are all kinds of articles on how to drive safely while using a cell phone. I have yet to see an article on how people who do not drive while talking can protect themselves from the ones who do.

They should know better. Someone make a smart phone that zaps you in the ear when driving. Or "Sorry pull over to finish conversation" and the car starts flashing lights. Alerts Phone patrol, Busted. Big fine and daddy takes the the T-bird away, and the chocolate razor. Bummer

Yes! I walk a lot and I'm made very nervous by people who are talking while holding their cell phone in one hand and holding their cup of coffee in the other and steering with their knees.

You must not have a cell phone.

It is alot safer then pulling over to the side of the road

yeah most cant walk and talk at the same time, let alone drive and talk.
Moral: eat your meals, apply your make up and make all neccessary phone calls before getting on the road.
