Do you prefer a matte or glossy screen on your laptop and what HP model feels sturdy?

Matte, because the glare from lighting hurts my eyes. I own an HP Pavillion and it feels sturdy... Well, its not built like a Dell where its boxy and square and looks really sturdy but the HP it feels okay.
