I have them too and it is annoying. You should have an eye exam every couple of years, floaters or not. Here is some info:

Most of the interior of your eye is filled with vitreous, a clear, jelly-like substance. Eye floaters are small bits of debris floating in the vitreous. They may appear as spots, hair or bits of string that dart into your field of vision. Although they can be bothersome, eye floaters in your eye are usually not a serious problem and don't require treatment. Most people learn to ignore them.

Rarely, the density and location of eye floaters affect central vision and even interfere with reading. In such cases, a doctor may recommend surgical removal of the floating debris (vitrectomy). However, this surgery also carries risks and may not remove all floaters.

Eye floaters are most common in older adults due to age-related changes to the vitreous. Eye floaters usually appear gradually over time and are harmless. However, see your ophthalmologist if you notice a sudden onset or increase in floaters, especially if associated with flashing lights or hazy vision. This could be a sign of a potentially serious eye disorder, such as a retinal tear or retinal detachment.

I'm 53 and had developed eye floaters about 4 or 5 years ago. The doctors told me that they're harmless, but whoever has had them knows how annoying they are. They also said that I could have them "burned off" with laser surgery, but there was no way I was going to "burn" anything off my eyes! So I kind of accepted that my floaters were there to stay.

Then I came across this system, and seeing that you were offering a full money back guarantee, I figured I had nothing to lose well I was wrong - I did lose my floaters!! Oh my god I still can't believe my floaters are gone and my vision is as pristine as it was 5 years ago!

Getting rid of eye floaters without the high costs & dangers of laser treatments?

Floaters are little "cobwebs" or specks that float about in your field of vision. They are small, dark, shadowy shapes that can look like spots, thread-like strands, or squiggly lines. They move as your eyes move and seem to dart away when you try to look at them directly. They do not follow your eye movements precisely, and usually drift when your eyes stop moving.

In most cases, floaters are part of the natural aging process and simply an annoyance. They can be distracting at first, but eventually tend to "settle" at the bottom of the eye, becoming less bothersome. They usually settle below the line of sight and do not go away completely. Most people have floaters and learn to ignore them; they are usually not noticed until they become numerous or more prominent. Floaters can become apparent when looking at something bright, such as white paper or a blue sky.

I have a floater in my right eye.I`ve had it for several years.I asked my eye doc. about it and he said it was something broke loose and that it would eventually be dissolved back into my system ,if that didn`t happen then it wouldn`t do me any harm.I read a lot and I think that is what caused it.My son said he has several and he`s a big reader too.I wear glasses and so does he,also he wears contacts. If you haven`t had a doc look at your eyes then maybe you should have it checked out. It`s good to have a complete exam every couple of years.

If I were you I would go to a good eye doctor. I know this because I have them also and they recommend to have your eyes check at least once a year when you have them
I don't remember exactly what the called it but it is some type of break down.
But yes I would go see a specialist.
