why is my web cam being firewalled when I want to show it and when I want to view others when invited?

This only happens when I am using Yahoo IM my cam works fine with MSN and other sites

Because of your settings in IE most likely. Go to Control panel, then Internet options. Check your security settings by clicking the tab on top. You may have to set them lower. May be the pop-up blocker also with Yahoo.
